3. Research Interests

Prof. Jiang’s research interests mainly focus on Metalloprotein Chemistry and Enzyme Engineering, which including:

(1) Redesign of chloroperoxidase (CPO) by site-direct mutagenesis, chemical modification and solvent engineering.

(2) Study of the active site of CPO and its enantioselective catalysis mechanism in asymmetric oxidation, epoxidation and sulfoxidation reactions

(3) Electroenzymatic cascade catalysis based on a biohybrid and its application at energy, environment and bio-electric synthesis.
