1. Education Background

Li graduated with B.Sc (1995) in Chemistry Education and a M.Sc (1998) in Analytical Chemistry from the Shaanxi Normal University. He completed his PhD (2002) training at the Southwest University with Prof. Zhujun Zhang.


2. Professional Experience

Joined the Department of Chemistry, Shaanxi Normal University in July 1998. Promoted to associate professor in 2000, and to full professor in 2003. Served as a senior visiting scholar at the Department of Chemistry, Cardiff University, UK, from 2004 to 2005 for research.

5. Awards and Honors

Selected in 2004 for the first batch of the Ministry of Education's New Century Excellent Talents Support Program. In 2002, received funding from the Huoyingdong Education Foundation's 8th Session Young Teachers Fund for Colleges and Universities. Research achievements have won 1 first prize and 2 second prizes of the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Award.
