3. Research Interests
Our research focuses on nucleic acid catalytic chemistry, including:
1. Design of metalloDNAzymes (e.g. G4DNA and i-motif) and study of their enantioselective catalytic properties;
2. Exploration of natural and unnatural catalytic roles of DNA (duplex DNA or single stranded DNA) under specific conditions;
3. Construction of nucleotide- or nucleic acid-based materials in the applications of biomimetic, sensors, optical materials etc.
